Dr. Zitelli’s commitment to advancing dermatologic care led her to pursue specialized research experience at the University of California, San Francisco Psoriasis and Skin Treatment Center, where she worked alongside renowned dermatologists including Dr. John Koo, Dr. Wilson Liao, Dr. Kelly Cordoro, and Dr. Tina Bhutani.

Community Education & Outreach
Believing strongly in the importance of skin health education, Dr. Zitelli regularly shares her expertise with the community:
- Developed and presents “Our Skin and Sun Safety” program for 5th grade science curriculum
- Provides sun safety and skin cancer awareness lectures to schools and community groups
- Appears as an expert on local news stations discussing topics ranging from skin care to sun protection

Throughout her career, Dr. Zitelli has been actively involved in clinical research, serving as a sub-investigator for multiple clinical trials related to psoriasis and other dermatologic conditions. This research experience informs her evidence-based approach to patient care and keeps her at the forefront of dermatologic advances.
